How to get to Heaven from here!
1. Recognize your condition.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” No one is good enough to go to Heaven in his own merit. All of us fall short of God’s perfect standard.
2. Realize there is a penalty for sin.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death…” The payment for our sins is separation from God forever in a place called Hell. This is what we deserve, because we have all sinned against a holy God.
3. Believe Christ died for your sins.
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus Christ loves you so much. He died to pay the punishment/wages for your sin.
Romans 6:23 “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Only Jesus can give you eternal life. You can call upon Him to save you today!
5. Pray a prayer of faith, believing and trusting in Jesus Christ.
“Dear Jesus, I know I’m a sinner. Please forgive me of my sins, come into my heart, and save my soul from Hell. I’m trusting You alone to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank You for saving me, Jesus. Amen”
